Cardiac Rhythm Device Clinic

Cardiac rhythm devices include pacemakers, defibrillators and loop recorders, which are implanted into patients to diagnose or treat abnormal heart rhythms or manage congestive heart failure.

The Cardiac Rhythm Device Clinic at Metropolitan Heart and Vascular performs more than 11,000 evaluations of these devices each year. We help patients adjust to life with them and ensure they are getting all the benefits possible. In addition, we partner closely with other cardiologists and primary care providers to make sure medication, fitness, and treatment plans work together with pacemaker or defibrillator therapy to optimize patients’ health.

Our electrophysiologists, nurses, and technicians perform device testing and patient follow-up at our office sites in Coon Rapids, Fridley, and Buffalo, as well as via remote hookup by phone or the Internet.
