Margo Tolins-Mejia, MD

Dr. Margo Tolins-Mejia graduated from the University of North Carolina Medical School. She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine and Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Minnesota. She has been with Metropolitan Heart and Vascular Institute since 1986, and her interests include cardiac risk factor reduction in women.

Dr. Tolins-Mejia first came to Minnesota from New York to attend Outward Bound in Ely. She is a strong advocate of staying physically fit and has participated in marathons, triathlons, and bicycle rides. She often stops by Cardiac Rehab to lift weights and spend time with others who value exercise as part of their daily lives.
